Based in Los Angeles, Satya specializes in beauty, fashion, editorial, and celebrity makeup, infusing joy and professionalism into every project. Alongside her work in the industry, she is an educator and digital content creator. Her profound understanding of makeup's transformative power emerged during her battle with cancer, elevating her craft to a healing art that nourishes the spirit. From training at Make-Up Designory in Burbank, California to becoming a Beauty Instructor there 20 years later, Satya’s journey bloomed alongside her award-winning jewelry designs for Zealandia Designs.

Satya's career spans various facets of the industry. As a freelance artist for MAC Cosmetics, she began her ascent, later becoming the West Coast Lead Makeup Artist for the prestigious Surratt Beauty. Satya's artistry has graced the faces of notable celebrities like Frankie Grande, John Leguizamo, Shirley Manson, Aloe Blacc, Korn, and Terri Nunn (Berlin). She has worked with visionary photographers and directors like David LaChapelle, Nick Knight, and Joseph Cultice, and advertising clients such as NYX, Paul Mitchell, and Max Studio. Her work has been featured in publications like Vogue Italia, Paper Magazine, and Schön, as well as on the runways of Tom Ford and the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund.

Satya recently collaborated with MOB Beauty, known for its clean makeup formulations and sustainable packaging. At their Palm Springs lab, she created her iconic M136 Soft Matte Red Lipstick that’s just like her: vibrant, bold, and fiery! Red lipstick has been Satya's signature and power color since her teenage years.

Additionally, Satya partnered with eco-friendly glitter company Wiggy Starlust, creating Satyatara, meaning ‘Truth Star’ - a mesmerizing bold red shade with violet and gold integrations. This artistic venture not only fuels her passion, but she also donates a portion of the sales to the Fred Hutch Organization, an institution instrumental in her victorious battle against cancer.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Satya revels in simple pleasures.
